William Charles  Abrams
William Charles Abrams was born in Morvin , Alabama on May 7, 1939 to the late Deacon Cecil Gray Abrams and Mary Jane Abrams. He departed this life for his eternal home on Friday, May 12, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ella Ree Abrams; daughter, Emma Sharon Brown; and granddaughter, Jamal Goodner.

William Charles attended Campbell Hill Elementary School and Morvin Junior High School in Morvin, Alabama. He graduated from Thomasville High School. Charles was baptized at an early age. He was a member of the church choir and other church activities. He later became a member of the Aimwell MB Church where he served on the Usher Board. He was a faithfully employee of the Merchant Transfer Company for 49 years.

Charles leaves to cherish his precious memories his children, three daughters, Angela (James) Goodner, Felicia Abrams and Deatrice Abrams; three sons, Charles Abrams, Curtis (Felicia) Abrams, and Roderick Abrams all of Mobile, AL; grandchildren, Megale Abrams, Curtis Hill, Sr, Sherica Goodner, Latosha Mack, Vernonica Brown, Calizzia Henderson, James Goodner, Jr, Chiquita Abrams, Valencia Abrams, Quentin Abrams, Portia Brown, Rodjericka Abrams, Andrea Abrams, Dejuan French all of Mobile, Alabama; five sisters, Allie B. Abrams of Mobile, AL, Mary (Millard) Wright of Killeen, TX, Kate (Terry) Prater of Denver, Colorado, Jane (William) Gadson of Killeen, TX, Jerrie Seaberry of Plano, TX; two brothers, Deacon Genie Abrams of Mobile, AL and Luther (Helen) Abrams of Ellenwood, GA; one son-in-law, Andre' Brown; a devoted best friend, Weston Green; two devoted cousins, Cornelia Culpepper and Earnest Tate; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the USA Mitchell Cancer Center (Michele Young) and Comfort Care Hospice (Cheree Odom and Debbie Cowley).

His remains will lie in state on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 1–8p.m. at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 11am until the1pm funeral hour at Aimwell Missionary Baptist Church, 500 Earle Street, Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
